THATCamp Ohio 2018 will take place on Sept. 21 and 22 on Ohio University’s Athens Campus.
On Friday, Sept. 21, attendees are invited to two afternoon workshops in Alden Library 251.
On Saturday, Sept. 22, attendees will partake in a full day of events, beginning with a keynote presentation from Dr. Roopika Risam in Schoonover Center Auditorium. Dr. Risam is an Assistant Professor of English at Salem State University and the author of New Digital Worlds: Postcolonial Digital Humanities in Theory, Praxis, and Pedagogy (Northwestern UP, 2018). She is a member of xpMethod and a contributor to the important Digital Humanities project Torn Apart/Separados.
Following Dr. Risam’s keynote, attendees will move to Alden Library 319 to begin the planning session for the day’s THATCamp events, which will include four blocks of sessions and workshops. Lunch will be provided at no cost to participants.
